Eleni Megagianni is a psychologist, graduate of the Department of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a registered practising psychologist. She has completed her postgraduate studies in Counselling Psychology in Special Education, Education and Health at the University of Thessaly and is currently completing her clinical training in Systemic Psychotherapy & Counselling at the Centre for Systemic Study and Therapy (Κε.Σ.Με.Θ.)
As part of her training, she has been a member of the therapeutic teams of the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki in the Acute Case Department and of the “Willingness” Psychotherapy and Counselling Clinic: Family, Health & Sex Clinic in Malta. More recently, she has been a member of the therapeutic teams of KETHEA PILOTOS at the Prevention and Early Intervention Unit for Adolescents and the Centre for Counselling and Psychological Support for Students at the University of Thessaly. Eleni has also completed a number of workshops focused on subjects related to LGBTQ+ clients through Colour Youth.
Currently, she provides psychotherapeutic support to children, adolescents and their families, as well as to adults, while being under ongoing professional / clinical supervision. She has experience working with individuals and families struggling with emotional and relation difficulties (some of which might be better understood under certain diagnostic terms) and also with individuals exploring their gender-related feelings and / or people who identify as trans.
Maria Eleni Gianniou is a clinical psychologist and a registered practising psychologist, (License. 6821). She completed her training in Clinical Psychology (MSc) at the Department of Psychology of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she also completed her BA in Psychology. She has completed her clinical training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy(CBT) at the Institute of Behavioral Research and Therapy in Athens, Greece and has also completed training in Compassion-Focused Therapy and Positive Psychology.
Maria Eleni completed her clinical placements at the Mental Health Unit of the Municipality of Ilioupolis, at the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry department of Attikon Hospital and at the Hellenic Centre of Mental Hygiene and Research in Pireaus. She has also worked in primary education and has collaborated with different centres and schools in supporting children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders. In ICF Consultations Maria Eleni works psychotherapeutically with children, adolescents and adults. She also offers counseling and psychotherapy to parents and she specialises in supporting individuals across the life span who experience gender-related distress, within a compassionate, exploratory and collaborative psychotherapeutic context.
