Supervision

I am a qualified, AFT and UKCP registered, Systemic Supervisor & Trainer. As part of my supervisory roles in the NHS and in private practice, I have been working with clinicians from different modalities and theoretical backgrounds, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurses and counsellors.

I have completed the AFT accredited postgraduate training (Systemic family therapy supervision, consultation and training) at the Tavistock Centre and I offer clinical supervision to individuals or groups who are seeking supervision for their private or agency-based practice. In some cases I am able to offer live supervision or co-work with other mental health clinicians on an ad-hoc basis.

During a supervision session, I support supervisees with clinical dilemmas and theory and practice links drawing on systemic, relational, attachment and psychodynamic theories. In addition, I pay particular attention to supervisees’ development of personal and professional links, self-reflexivity and how they acknowledge and integrate issues of power, culture and difference in their clinical work. Sometimes we might review audio and video material (retrospective supervision) in order to reflect on ongoing therapeutic work.

I offer face-to-face supervision in London and in Athens. Online supervision is available to clinicians unable to meet in person.

In my supervisory capacity I abide at all times by the AFT Code of Ethics and Practice for Supervisors.
